Mar 21, 2019 · VelociDrone is much kinder to older spec machines and there is quite a lot of granular control over configuration of the graphics engine to help you tune the game to the spec of your machine accordingly, although on the flip side you do have to be a bit patient waiting for it to load up, but once you're actually flying in the sim it's fine. "There is an issue affecting some people on version 1.8 where the sim is pausing when crossing the start/finish line for a couple of seconds. The issue is fixed in VelociDrone 1.9 for windows defender but other antivirus systems can still make it happen. The workaround is to disable voice announcements in the main menu settings. Velocidrone feels right in flight because it is a full simulation, it simulates batteries, motors, esc, flight controller, props and airframe as separate discreet systems.
